Nature of Wisdom: Pt 3
Speaker: Guest Pastor Craig Wendell
Read: Proverbs 3:13-18, 4:6, 27:12; Galatians 6:7; Ephesians 5:15; James 1:5
There are two kinds of people: those who are wise and those who are foolish (dumb).
Wise people understand that life is linked – that our choices yesterday determine today’s results. And if we find we are unhappy with the life we are living, we should consider the choices we have made and the path we have chosen.
Let us not be deceived by our culture and the voices around us. Making unwise choices lead to consequences, regrets and often self-victimization. Although God forgives our sins, He doesn’t remove the consequences. But He will help us walk through our consequences with wisdom if we ask for His assistance. When we ask for wisdom, God will give it to us. When we chase down wisdom, we will find it and experience peace.
