We know that God wants to use us to renovate His world, to love His people by meeting their spiritual and physical needs. In 2010, we launched our Downtown Campus to do just that.
In 2013, we cast our first ‘Love Renovation’ vision – a picture of what it would look life if we all grew in our conviction to reach the people in our neighborhoods, workplaces and schools to know Jesus. We asked the question: What would it look like if we reshaped the purpose of this campus to not only provide a weekend church experience buy also function as a mission and outreach hub?
Since then, we have partnered with existing organizations such as Cameron Community Ministries and Crisis Nursery of Rochester to make a difference. In September 2015, we launched our TFH Food Pantry, where we saw 221 bags of food given away within just two days of opening!
We celebrate what God is doing and yet we know it is time for us to take our next step and we believe it involves strengthening our outreach focus.
In October 2015, we are transitioning our downtown location to become our Life Center | City Extension: an expression of the heart of our church in the local community, where we will mobilize volunteers to serve and impact our own backyard.
Life Center will have range of weekly programs, services and projects aimed to help people specifically in our community. In order to maximize effectiveness, Life Center will operate during the week and will provide transportation to TFHGreece on the weekends. Our mission is to renovate the city with God’s love by seeing families strengthened, young people pursue their dreams and individuals connect in community. Every story matters, together it is possible!
Use the provided list as a guide to shop for non-perishable items. Bring purchased products to the Food Drive stands in the lobby at each campus by Sunday, November 19.
With our hearts connected to the heart of Jesus, we are compelled to show His love, not just with our words but with our actions too. Together, we can make a difference in the life of each person within our church, within our city, and within our world. Family takes care of its own.
History The tradition of gathering together monthly began over 10 years ago to create intentional time to linger in worship as a church. Those inconsequential Wednesday meetings unknowingly became some of the foundations of our church – the early roots of prayer & worship.
Worship A sacred space to extend worship and encounter God in a powerful and tangible way.
Community A place to gather to be encouraged, spurred on and inspired in faith.
WHAT ABOUT CHILDCARE?
We believe it’s significant for our TFH kids team to be part of First Wednesdays. This means, there won’t be childcare provided on these nights. To assist couples and single parents who want to participate, the church will help by providing money towards childcare.
A gathering on Thursday, November 16 of vision and celebration of all God is doing and continuing to do.

God is a generational God. He is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. It takes more than one generation to accomplish the monumental work He wants to produce in our region. We have been called to be an eternal influence and our decisions today, will affect destinies of generations to come. As part of a great legacy, we want to continue re-digging the wells of prayer in our city on Thursday Nights.
“There has never been a spiritual awakening in any country or locality that did not begin in united prayer.” – A.T. Pierson
A Christ centered ministry focused on applying biblical principles to find freedom from hurts, hangups and habits.
The feeling of being HURT is an emotional reaction to another person’s behavior or to a disturbing situation. A HABIT is an addiction to someone or something. HANG-UPS are negative mental attitudes that are used to cope with people or adversity (anger, depression, fear, unforgiveness, etc.)
