10 Scriptures to Speak Over Your Home

Hello Families!!

Thinking of you and wondering if you are feeling much like I am with the information we have from the government regarding our timeline for continuing this “pause”.  I will say I am so grateful for the wisdom being exhibited and the decisions being made for the safety and health of our families and this entire country.  While this is true, it doesn’t mean it is easy or preferred and honestly, thinking about it causes a little uneasiness.

We miss our family, our friends, our teachers, our church, our routines, our OPTIONS!  So, while we continue to navigate whatever comes our way, let’s focus this week on allowing God to cover us with His grace and claim some of the truth His Word offers when it comes to anxiety or uncertainty…

  1. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

  2. Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? Matthew 6:26-27

  3. Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.  Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you and help you.  I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.  Isaiah 41:10

  4. Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.  Deuteronomy 31:6

  5. Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up. Proverbs 12:25

  6. The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be still. Exodus 14:14

  7. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. Isaiah 43:2-3

  8. Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice, for the Lord has done great things! Joel 2:21

  9. You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he puts his trust in you.   Isaiah 26:3

  10. I will both lie down and sleep in peace, For You alone, Lord, make me live in safety. Psalm 4:8

Speaking these verses over each of your homes this week!

Need constant reminders of the power of God’s word? Try writing one or two of these passages that stick out to you the most on a sticky note and put it on your bathroom mirror, the refrigerator door or at your work station- somewhere you’d see it often…

Grace on grace to you!
