“You are like a tree planted by flowing, cool streams of water that never run dry. Your fruit ripens in its time; your leaves never fade or curl in the summer sun.  No matter what you do, you prosper.”  Psalm 1:3

For every tree a decisive moment occurs when a seed transforms into something new, a moment that the seed can take root and break through the darkness in the hopeful stretch for the light.  Trees are shaped in the rhythms of light and darkness, rain and drought, season reaching into season, always growing deeper in order to grow taller. Every day God invites us to prepare the soil of our lives so that we can be rooted deeper in Him, grow closer to Him and live lives marked by fruitfulness.
